How I feel about my own maths ability | My teaching journey

Maths – In Maths we follow the White Rose hub scheme of learning.

This term we will start with a close link with our Science week. Therefore, we will begin with Time. This will include telling the time - o'clock and half past, ordering the parts of the day and knowing the days of the week and months of the year.

We will then move onto Multiplication and Division. This will include repeated addition, counting in 2s, 5s and 10s and sharing amounts. There will be lots of opportunities to use manipulatives to explain answers and learning, and we will continue to recap our bonds to 10, 20.
